CampSite (“we”, “us”) provides a simple hosting environment for small static websites. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use CampSite.
1. The service
CampSite offers tools to register an account, upload and edit files, and publish content at a public URL we designate (for example under our published-site hostname). Features, quotas, and availability may change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information where requested. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use CampSite to:
- Violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
- Upload malware, exploit code, or content intended to harm systems or users.
- Send spam, phishing, or deceptive content.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or breach our or others’ systems without authorization.
- Overload or disrupt the service (for example excessive automated requests).
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or take other steps we consider appropriate for violations or risk to the service or other users.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload your content and that it does not violate these terms or applicable law.
5. Quotas and changes
Storage, traffic, and other limits may apply. We may modify the service, limits, or these terms; where material, we will take reasonable steps to inform you (for example via the portal or email). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless we state otherwise.
6. Termination
You may stop using CampSite at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, legal requirements, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (such as limitations of liability) will survive termination.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted or secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CampSite and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or fifty dollars (USD), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the service operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms may be directed through the contact channels published on the SwiftVault or CampSite site.
This document is provided for convenience and does not constitute legal advice. You may wish to have terms reviewed by counsel for your jurisdiction.
